Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with Light + Salt! We want every order to arrive on time and in perfect condition. Because all of our products are made-to-order through Printify, please review the details below before purchasing.

1. Order Processing

Each item is printed and packaged after you place your order to reduce waste and keep our business sustainable.

  • Processing time: Orders typically take 2–7 business days to be printed and prepared for shipment.

  • During high-demand seasons (like holidays), processing may take a few extra days.

  • Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number.

2. Shipping Times & Costs

Shipping times depend on your location and the print provider used through Printify.

  • U.S. orders: Usually arrive within 5–10 business days after shipment.

  • International orders: May take 10–20 business days depending on customs and local carriers.

  • Shipping rates: Calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or holidays.

3. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.
If you don’t see the email within a few days, check your spam/junk folder or contact us at clothing.lightandsalt@gmail.com for help.

4. Wrong or Incomplete Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.
We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses

  • Unclaimed packages or missed deliveries

If your package is returned to us due to an address error, we may reship it at your expense.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

We want you to love your purchase! If an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at clothing.lightandsalt@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the damaged or incorrect item

We’ll work with Printify to send a free replacement or issue a refund (depending on the situation).
Replacements are only issued for manufacturing or printing errors — not for buyer’s remorse, wrong size orders, or normal wear.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Because all Light + Salt items are custom made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is damaged or incorrect.

Please make sure to check:

  • Size charts before ordering

  • Product descriptions and colors (note: screen settings can slightly alter color appearance)

If you’re unsure about sizing or need help before placing an order, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to help!

7. Cancellations

Orders can only be canceled within 2 hours of purchase.
After that, production begins, and we’re unable to cancel or modify your order.

8. Lost or Missing Packages

If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received your package:

  1. Check with household members or neighbors.

  2. Wait 24–48 hours — carriers sometimes scan packages early.

  3. Contact your local post office with the tracking number.

If your package still hasn’t been located, email us at [insert your email], and we’ll do our best to help.
Please note: Light + Salt is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after they have been marked as delivered by the carrier.

9. International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs fees, import taxes, or duties imposed by their country.
We cannot predict or reimburse these fees, as they vary by region.
